Do you want more vegetables in the meal or do you want mashed potatoes with fewer carbohydrates, then this potato celeriac puree is recommended. Can’t go wrong and at least as tasty as regular mashed potatoes.
Side dish for three or four people.
Preparation time: 20-25 minutes
Ingredients
- 300 grams of potatoes
- 400 grams celeriac
- 1 tablespoon butter
Prepare
Peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces. Peel the celeriac and cut into cubes. Boil the potato and celeriac in one pan for 15-20 minutes. Drain, but keep 100 ml of the cooking liquid. Add the butter and the cooking liquid and mash to a puree. Season with salt and pepper.
Tip
Use this puree as a base for a stew.
