One of the most important zones of the Health Fair is the Medical & Care zone. Here you will find all kinds of information about prevention, research and medicines for common diseases and disorders. Information, advice on treatment methods and second opinions. Whether it concerns regular or exceptional complaints: at the Health Fair you will find answers to all your questions about health. This year the fair will take place from 11 to 14 February in Jaarbeurs Utrecht.

By means of information, accessible presentations and personal advice (think of measuring your BMI and fat percentage, sleep advice or a foot screening, but also testing the cholesterol, blood pressure– or vitamin values) you will soon be fully aware of your own health and the new trends and developments in the medical field. You will receive the results of the tests you take home.
Inspiring speakers
Internist and vascular physician Dr. Frank van Berkum specializes in the treatment of overweight people. At the fair, he talks about the role of nutrition in overweight and discusses the philosophy behind his latest book ‘The Hungry Brain’. In addition, various other inspiring speakers can be found on the large stage and in the four smaller rooms. Think of people like Amber Alberda, Gerrit-Jan Groothedde, Anne Marie Reuzenaar and Ralph Moorman.
