The new Suzuki S-Cross is available in France from € 27,090, or € 2,000 more than its predecessor. Launched only in a micro-hybrid version pending a new hybrid drive, the SUV is offered with two or four-wheel drive like its predecessor.
Suzuki had promised to open the order book for the new S-Cross before the end of the year. The Japanese manufacturer keeps his promise! Although the new generation of the SUV does not join dealerships before early 2022, the car can be configured online and reserved.
For its debut, this S-Cross uses the powertrains and finishes of its predecessor. The base price of the model increases by € 2,000 to € 27,090. Thanks to its micro-hybrid 1.4 BoosterJet Hybrid engine of 129 hp, the crossover always escapes any ecological penalty in manual gearbox traction. Suzuki still offers an automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive, synonymous with a penalty of between € 75 and € 280 according to the 2022 scale depending on the configuration. A hybrid S-Cross is scheduled for the second half of next year.

The entry-level Suzuki S-Cross is still called Advantage. Compared to the previous generation, it gains larger diameter rims (17 inches against 16 previously) as well as several driving aids. On the other hand, it abandons the automatic dual-zone air conditioning for a manual system. Its standard equipment remains relatively complete and includes:
- manual air conditioning
- 7 inch central touch screen
- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity
- reversing camera
- sign recognition
- adaptive cruise control
- Lane departure warning
- hill start aid
- LED headlamps, daytime running lights and taillights
- modular boot floor
- 17 inch alloy wheels
A high-end provided without being luxurious
For € 1,200 more, the Privilege configuration makes it possible to find the automatic dual-zone air conditioning and benefit from:
- automatic lights and wipers
- front fog lights
- front and rear parking cameras
- blind spot monitoring
- reverse traffic detection
- electrically folding mirrors
- heated front seats
- reclining rear seat
The Style finish covers the range for an additional € 1,400 with, among other things, a central 9-inch touch screen, a navigation system, a panoramic sunroof and semi-leather upholstery. The dimensions of the S-Cross (4.30 m long) place it against the Peugeot 2008. Its prices place it halfway between a Renault Captur (4.23 m) and a Peugeot 3008 (4.45 m) at equivalent power level. The possibility of having four-wheel drive remains rare among compact SUVs. Failing to be a star of the market, the Suzuki S-Cross therefore retains an atypical positioning to assert.
