WhatsApp is rolling out a feature where you can make funny stickers yourself and send them to your friends.
The messaging service will soon have a function that makes it possible to create stickers within WhatsApp itself. Usually these are funny stickers to send to your friends. The feature was discovered by YouTuber Makul Sharma in a test version.
Stickers in WhatsApp
Telegram has had this for a while, but now the world’s most widely used messaging service follows suit. It is of course already possible to send stickers, but you have to make these yourself with programs outside of WhatsApp. Or download from other providers. With the new function you no longer need that. It allows users to create their own stickers. You do this with photos that are on your smartphone. So easy.
Then make a crop of the photo and add text, drawings and emoij’s to it. The tech website Android Authority has the feature in the meantime tested. They confirm it works. At the moment, the feature is only in the beta version of WhatsApp for desktops. It would be ideal if the feature also follows for the mobile apps. This is where you use the messaging service the most. However, it is still unknown whether this will happen and when the feature will be rolled out at all.
