Massages to do alone
– To relax your shoulders: cross your arms in front of you, placing the right hand behind the left shoulder and the left hand behind the right shoulder. The fingertips are directed towards the spine. Press gently, but firmly for as long as possible. Then strum with your fingers on the upper back and shoulders.
– For relax : place your fingers (except the thumbs) on the back of the neck, at the base of the skull, then make small circular movements slowly descending along the neck and shoulders to the top of the back. Make at least 3 round trips.
– To forget your worries: run your hands through your hair and grab strands one by one. Pull gently but firmly enough to “peel the skin” off the skull.
– To loosen your stomach: gently press your fingers into your abdomen, then lie flat on your stomach so that all your body weight is on your fingers. Breathe slowly and deeply so that the abdominal muscles relax little by little. This position is not very comfortable at first.
– For relax your face : Place your thumbs in the middle of his forehead and cover his temples and cheeks with your hands. With the thumbs, describe small circles on the forehead going towards the temples before smoothing the forehead transversely in both directions. With the thumbs, massage in small circular movements the wings of the nose and continue on the cheekbones until the birth of the eyebrows. Repeat the journey 3 times. Massage the hem of the ear (from bottom to top) by pinching it gently between the thumb and forefinger, then smooth the lobes several times with your thumbs.
Massages for two
– To relax his shoulders: position your hands on your partner’s shoulders, fingers on his collarbones and thumbs towards the shoulder blades, as much in the middle of the back as possible. With thumb fat, make small circles pressing firmly and moving laterally to treat the entire trapezius area.
– To relax his back : Place your partner on his stomach. Place your hands on his lower back, your 2 thumbs meeting on the spine, and spread your hands fanning them out to the sides. Chain a dozen movements over the entire lower back. Place your thumbs on either side of the spine (about 5cm on either side). Keeping your hands flat, gently go up to the top of your back, describing small circles with your thumbs. With clenched fists as you bounce, pat your entire back from bottom to top ending in the shoulders.
