The restyled Skoda Karoq is available in France from € 29,530. In addition to the aesthetic changes, new equipment is offered as an option or at the top of the range. Prices increase for all versions.
Skoda launches the restyled Karoq on the French market. Maintaining the attractiveness of the compact SUV is important for the Czech manufacturer since this model is, after the Octavia, the best-selling model. However in France the offer is a little less attractive than announced, which does not prevent prices from rising. The increase, which varies according to the version, approaches 2,000 €. The Karoq “phase 2” starts at € 29,530 in its basic version Ambition TSI 110 with manual transmission.

A less extensive range for the Karoq
The French range of the crossover has been reduced with this update. The 190 hp petrol engine that the Karoq Sportline could benefit from, which was automatically associated with four-wheel drive via the DSG7 double-clutch transmission has disappeared from the catalog. And the TSI 150, if it is still offered with manual gearbox or DSG7, as a choice, in Ambition and Business finishes, is no longer available with the second in the Sportline and Style configurations.
We can easily guess that the increase in the ecological penalty got the better of the commercial viability of these gasoline variants. In addition, Skoda had announced a digital dashboard as standard on all versions. However, for the time being, it is part of the standard endowment only from the Sportline finish with a size of 10.25 inches. The needle instrument cluster must nevertheless be abandoned on board the lower versions in favor of an 8-inch screen later this year, at a date which depends on the supply of electronic components.
An endowment that remains complete
The restyled Skoda Karoq is recognizable by its refined lights, its enlarged front air intakes and its elongated roof spoiler. The latter contributes, with the new Aero hubcaps, to reducing aerodynamic drag and therefore fuel consumption. The SUV remains well equipped basic. The Ambition finish includes among others:
- dual-zone automatic air conditioning
- 8 inch central touch screen
- navigation system
- 8 speaker audio system
- reversing radar
- cruise control / speed limiter
- LED headlamps, daytime running lights and taillights
- halogen fog lights
- automatic lights and wipers
- fatigue detector
- 17-inch alloy wheels with Aero hubcaps
The Business model, accessible to professionals and individuals alike, notably adds the reversing camera, front parking radar, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance and the motorized tailgate.

Sportline and Style at the top of the range
Identifiable thanks to the sporty look, the Karoq Sportline is now entitled to Matrix LED lights (fog lights included) and adds to the Ambition equipment:
- 10.25 inch digital dashboard
- reversing camera
- front parking radar
- adaptive cruise control
- smart high beam
- heated front seats
- wireless charger
- 18 inch alloy wheels
- aluminum pedals and thresholds
The Style configuration still tops the range with, among other things, a three-part rear bench seat with removable central seat, a motorized tailgate and leather / Alcantara upholstery. The 9.2-inch central screen remains optional whatever the version, such as the piloted suspension, as well as the curtain and side airbags (8 airbags as standard) among others.
