The Mégane eVision concept foreshadows 90-95% the future production vehicle that Renault will present in the fall of 2021. Logic would therefore want that only 5 to 10% of the mystery share remains. But, it is to forget a little quickly that during the presentation of the said concept, the manufacturer was careful not to reveal the interior. Certainly planned for a future event. With a few details …
Regarding the exterior, the changes between the production version and the concept are, according to our information, subtle. This corroborates the various assertions of the leaders of Renault announcing that the concept resembles 95% to the future production model. Silhouette, proportions, including dimensions (4.21 m in length), everything is there or almost. No need to add door handles, they will be very flush on the final version. At least at the front, because at the back, they will be hidden in the upright. On the other hand, the exterior mirrors will be quite conventional. It won’t be cameras like on the Audi e-tron. The optics will also be more classic and can adopt Full LED technology. On the other hand, the daytime running lights will resume, indeed, this S-shaped graphic element. The grille will incorporate a light ring intersected by the diamond. The shields will adopt a stylistic effect that appeared on the Morphoz concept.
Touch is gaining ground
For the rest, the machine will have a nice rear roominess, especially in terms of legroom. The ease in width will be more limited. As for the volume of the trunk, it will be similar to that of a current Mégane, approximately 380 l.
