A traditional Dutch dish with potatoes and chicken.
Ingredients

½ red cabbage or 500 grams of chopped red cabbage

40 grams dried apples

2 cloves

cinnamon

6 potatoes

200 grams chicken thigh fillet

2 tablespoons liquid margarine

vinegar

1 tablespoon sugar
Preparation
- Shred the red cabbage into fine strips.
- Bring the cabbage to the boil with a little water, the apples, the cloves, some pepper and cinnamon. Boil the red cabbage for 30 minutes.
- Peel the potatoes. Boil the potatoes in a little water for about 20 minutes.
- Cut the chicken into strips and sprinkle with pepper.
- Bake the chicken in the hot margarine for 8 minutes until cooked and brown.
- Remove the cloves from the cabbage and season the cabbage with some vinegar and sugar.
- Add the chicken strips and potatoes.
