I therefore suggest that you try without delay:
- Remember to something that made you to smile recently, although that’s not much.
- Look around you, in your home or in the office, and pick up a particular object which brings you a feeling of well-being or joy when you see it.
- Think hard of someone that you are happy to have in your life (and if you call or send him a message, it will be even more enjoyable).

What we know about positive emotions
When we regularly experience positive emotions, we create a virtuous circle which reinforces our feeling of well-being. These pleasant emotions, whether it is joy, pleasure, satisfaction or pride (for example), help us focus on the positive aspects of each situation.
It has been found that positive emotions have a important influence on our behavior. They too play a driving role in our existence and our daily activities; they open our minds and widen the range of our perceptions.
They help us to be more creative, more flexible and more tolerant of the ideas of others. They also allow us to do more easily trust others and develop a sense of sustainable well-being.
It doesn’t stop there. When you feel good at the time, you are more likely to feel good in the long run. For example, if we have fun to go for a walk in the middle of nature, we will put ourselves in a positive state to examine a new opportunity that presents itself.
