The prices of the Peugeot 5008 increase once again to start at €34,400. Added to this is a greater ecological penalty than in 2021, which no version of the family SUV escapes.
The Peugeot 5008 undergoes its third price increase in eight months. The lion brand’s large seven-seater SUV sees its prices increase by €250 in petrol and €750 in diesel, i.e. €1,050 increase since May 2021 in the first case and even €1,550 in the second. Its entry-level version now claims €34,400.

A significant price increase with the penalty
Added to this surge in catalog prices is that of the ecological penalty following the entry into force of the 2022 scale. last year. Equipped with the EAT8 automatic transmission, this same block has a penalty of at least €280, i.e. €90 more than in 2021. As for the BlueHDi 180 EAT8 engine, its minimum tithe goes from €898 to €1,386 (+ 54.3%).

In essence, the minimum penalty now amounts to €400 for the PureTech 130 model with manual gearbox (+ €140), €898 with the EAT8 box (+ €448), and €1,901 for the PureTech 180 EAT8 powertrain (+€625). note that the Peugeot 5008 escapes the new weight penalty thanks to an empty weight which remains well below 1,800 kg.
An unchanged range for the 5008
On the range side, nothing changes for the 5008. The Style and Road Trip special series are still in the game and the induction charger, which had been removed from the options catalog due to the shortage of electronic chips except for the GT version, is no longer even offered for the latter. The Active Pack finish which ensures the access offer still offers, among other things:
- dual-zone automatic climate control
- digital dashboard
- 8-inch central touch screen
- cruise control / speed limiter
- reversing camera
- LED spotlights
- automatic lights and wipers
- 17 inch alloy wheels

The Style edition offers a 10-inch central screen and a connected navigation system, in addition to its finishing details such as its satin black roof bars and its stainless steel door sills. The Allure finish mainly adds the Safety Plus pack including automatic switching between low beam and high beam, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring and fatigue detector. It also includes 18-inch rims. Ambient lighting and hands-free starting are part of the Allure Pack. The Road Trip model has a black roof, semi-Alcantara upholstery and aluminum pedals in particular.
GT versions still much better equipped
The GT configuration makes it possible to take advantage of more sophisticated LED headlamps integrating directional lighting and the continuation of the daytime running lights in the main optical units. It also comes with adaptive cruise control, and this can be combined with lane keeping assistance if you opt for the EAT8 gearbox which has a “sport” mode in this version. Its specific grille, chrome exhaust pipes, Alcantara interior linings and black roof lining give it its sporty look, and second-row passengers are entitled to two USB ports. The Peugeot 5008 GT Pack that tops the range has semi-autonomous parking, motorized tailgate, heated front seats, Focal audio system and 19-inch rims, among others.
