Officially, this cannot be called snert, because according to experts, snert is always made with dried green peas or split peas. That doesn’t make it any less delicious though!
Ingredients

2 onions

about 300 grams celeriac

2 carrots

pinch of curry

2 tablespoons liquid margarine

2 small potatoes

6 dl vegetable stock

600 grams of frozen peas

300 grams steamed mackerel
-
4 sprigs of celery
Preparation
- Cut the onion into pieces, the celeriac into cubes and the carrot into slices.
- Fry the vegetables with the curry for a few minutes in the hot margarine.
- Peel the potato and cut it into cubes.
- Place the potato cubes, stock and peas in the pan.
- Bring this to a boil and cook the soup for 10 minutes.
- Puree the soup in a food processor or with an immersion blender.
- Season the soup with some salt and pepper.
- Cut the mackerel into pieces and put them in the soup.
- Garnish with the celery leaves.
