The Peugeot 308 is entering a new phase: that of orders. Indeed, its prices start at 24,800 and 25,800 € for the SW station wagon. It is slightly more expensive than the old one. The new French sedan will be launched in early October while the SW arrives in January 2022.
Peugeot has opened orders for its new 308. The catalog for the French compact, unveiled last March, is now available. It will arrive in dealerships in September for the pre-launch but the official launch will take place at the beginning of October.

The engines of the Peugeot 308 III
As announced, the range of this third generation of 308 consists of two petrol engines of 110 and 130 hp, a diesel of 130 hp and two plug-in hybrid offers of 180 and 225 hp. The two 130 hp units can optionally be combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Equipment offered automatically on electrified models. We will still have to be patient to have a fully electric 308, this version not being expected before 2023.
New Peugeot 308 price (June 2021)
To start his career, the 308 III is displayed, in its 100% thermal versions, from € 24,800 to peak at € 37,100. For comparison, its predecessor ended its career with prices ranging from € 24,650 to € 36,050. Peugeot thus manages to maintain its compact in a relatively similar price range. The rechargeable offer, a more expensive technology, ranges from 36,800 to 44,900 €. For the prices of the SW station wagon, it suffices to add a supplement of 1000 €.
