Announced in 2021, the new identity of the Romanian brand was not yet visible on vehicles. The circle will be complete at the start of the school year since the Dacia Spring, Sandero, Sandero Stepway, Jogger and Duster will simultaneously be in tune.
The image low-cost from Dacia, that’s a thing of the past! Entity in its own right within the Renault group, the Romanian brand has been emancipated since January 2021. This has resulted in the appearance of a new logo presented on the Bigster concept car, the production version of which is planned for 2025. Exit the historic blue color, long live the khaki green evoking the universe ” outdoors “. After the concessions, which have been changing since March 2022, it is the turn of the vehicles in the range to appropriate the new codes.
Aesthetic evolutions, but not only…

A small industrial tour de force, all the models adopting the new identity will be launched at the same time. A real headache for the manufacturer in this period of shortage of components. Visually, the Spring, Sandero, Sandero Stepway, Jogger and Duster sport a redesigned grille featuring the new Dacia Link emblem in its center, while the patterns have been reworked and turned white. Indeed, the manufacturer forsakes the chrome keys. For their part, the roof bars, mirror shells and protective skids sport a Megalith gray color, while a new color is appearing in the color chart: Lichen Khaki. The new DACIA logo is displayed on the boot lid, as well as on the steering wheel. Finally, the interfaces of the multimedia system change graphics.

The brand also has a few surprises in store. By scrutinizing the dashboard of the Duster, you will notice that the formerly round air vents are now rectangular, as on the Jogger. Likewise, the Sandero Stepway now has a fixed glass roof, offered as an option. The Romanian manufacturer also informs that, by the beginning of 2023, the maximum speed of all its models will be limited to 180 km/h, which is already the case with the electric Renault Mégane E-Tech.
At the Paris World Cup
The new Dacia range will be available to order from June 16 and will make its first public appearance at the Paris Motor Show (October 17-23). Note that the nomenclature changes. The Essential finish becomes Essential, while the Comfort and Prestige are renamed Expression and Journey respectively. The first deliveries will take place at the beginning of November.
