The second generation of Apple chips in the form of the M2 is not very far away anymore.
Anyone who thought that Apple would release a new generation of computer chips every year was disappointed. The American tech giant from Cupertino used a completely different strategy. The tech company decided to release several variants of the M1.
It started with the M1. Later, all kinds of variants such as M1 Pro, Max and Ultra followed. Apple’s existing chip was made more and more powerful. If you are waiting for a Mac with the Apple M2 chip, you will finally get light at the end of the tunnel after long patience. Bloomberg message that Apple is currently actively testing the M2.
Apple is testing a variety of new Macs equipped with the brand new chip. In fact, four versions of the M2 in nine different types of Macs. The chips would be tested on a Mac Mini, the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro, among others. The tech company is expected to release the new M2 this year.
The introduction of its own chips has not done Apple any harm. Intel’s move to proprietary chipsets was an absolutely brilliant move. Not only are the Macs performing better than ever. Apple now has a new one too unique selling point added, in addition to the fact that the brand’s computers come with their own software.
