My daughter, 25, has bad teeth despite good care. She regularly vomits migraines with bile, could that be a cause? If so, is it okay to brush the teeth right after vomiting? How quickly are the teeth affected?

In principle, it is better not to brush your teeth immediately after the teeth have been exposed to acid. This can be after vomiting, but also after drinking soda or wine. The tooth enamel is then slightly decalcified and easier to grind away.
However, after vomiting, I can well imagine that you would like to brush your teeth. She could at least use a toothpaste that doesn’t have such a strong abrasive effect. For example, Elmex contains relatively little abrasive.
I don’t know how quickly the teeth deteriorate due to vomiting. But girls with anorexia who vomit regularly are known to have serious damage to their teeth. Incidentally, I think in the first place that your daughter should go to a specialized headache clinic to better treat the migraine.
