You can never be unanimous as a parent.
The constant fear of being judged by others as a parent makes it difficult for some to thrive and make the right decisions. It is therefore better to learn to act according to your values and what is best for your child.
Take a step back from your beliefs
To begin to detach yourself from the negative judgment of others as a parent, learn to question yourself about your thoughts and beliefs. Have you really heard negative comments about your child? And even if it is, is it a problem?
Next, remember that you know your child best and that you are the best person to make decisions that affect them. While of course you can hear advice, remember that you have the final say.
Take a step back with reviews
Receiving criticism from another parent, friend or family member does not necessarily mean an attack, but sometimes an avenue to explore in order to improve and benefit from the experience of others. . So don’t always take it personally, but be open-minded.
Finally, if you really only see negative judgments about your parenting skills without anything constructive, perhaps it is better to distance yourself from people who have easy judgments and focus on professionals or caring people.
