As President Emmanuel Macron announced in his televised address on Monday July 12, the health pass will be extended on July 21 to places of culture and leisure and then at the beginning of August for cafes, restaurants, centers shops, museums and other establishments open to the public. In other words, if employees working in establishments open to the public want to work normally, they will have to be vaccinated or be tested by PCR every two days.
Faced with this announcement, the Minister of Health Olivier Véran specified yesterday that additional time was going to be given for employees of establishments welcoming the public. The latter will then have until August 30 to be fully vaccinated. ” In practice, employees of establishments open to the public must have received their first dose of vaccine by August 1 at the latest, otherwise, from August 30, it will be a test every two days if they want to continue working. », He clarified. Indeed, the authorities have also announced that the health pass would now be valid one week after the first injection against two so far.
12-17 year olds also affected by this flexibility of the health pass
Beyond employees in places open to the public, flexibility in the health pass is also provided for 12-17 year olds for whom vaccination against Covid-19 has only been open since June 15.
