Extension of the health pass
It was therefore the day after the President of the Republic’s announcements that Olivier Véran declared that for the health pass “ one week after the injection of the second dose, rather than two Will now suffice for the vaccination to be recognized as complete. He explained that “ On the advice of Jean-François Delfraissy and Alain Fischer, we can now recognize the protection of vaccination only one week after the second dose instead of two weeks. “. Therefore, ” If it’s been a week since the French received their second injection, they are considered good for the health pass “.
Indeed, from July 21, the health pass will be extended to places of leisure and culture that bring together more than 50 people. The French will therefore have to present their health pass to go to the theater, the cinema, a festival, an amusement park or even a concert. From the beginning of August, the health pass will be compulsory in public places, such as restaurants, cafes, shopping centers, residences for the elderly, hospitals and medico-social establishments. It will be essential for traveling and using transport such as planes, coaches or trains, especially for long journeys.
The government website specifies that it is legally authorized to use the health pass until September 30, 2021, thanks to the health crisis management law. As a reminder, three documents can be registered for the health pass:
- a negative RT-PCR test of less than 48 hours;
- a test proving a past infection;
- vaccination certificate.
