The official website of the Agence Nationale des Titres Sécurisés (ANTS), which allows you to request a registration certificate in particular, is undergoing a major update. It offers new services and benefits from better readability, but still suffers from technical problems.
the ANTS website (Agence Nationale des Titres Sécurisés) is getting a makeover. This platform, which makes it possible to request various official documents such as identity cards and replaces the dedicated services of the prefectures for the establishment of registration certificates or driving licenses, is updated to offer new services. Remember that this is the only official and free site for vehicle registration procedures., identifiable by its “.gouv.fr” extension. The other sites that offer these services are managed by private companies and charge for their services, which is legal as long as their terms of use are clear and they have state approval.

A more readable presentation
The new version of the ANTS site benefits from a revised presentation for greater clarity and ergonomics. The page dedicated to each type of title contains new tabs corresponding to the different steps that can be taken. The list of documents to be provided, the stages of the request, and the time to be expected (theoretically) are then indicated. In addition, a section “ Services »Allows, for each title, to order certain services. This is where you can, for example, generate the certificate of the administrative status of a vehicle or consult the points balance of your driving license.
Additional services at ANTS
It is always possible to connect to the ANTS site by creating an account specific to this platform or via the France Connect system which generates common identifiers for several official platforms such as those of the Health Insurance or Taxes. The registration certificate application can now be made directly as a legal person. Once logged in, the user can access a clearer follow-up of his procedures than before.
In addition, automotive professionals, driving schools and town halls now have specific access and services. Finally, the help section with frequently asked questions has been expanded. As of this writing, access to the new ANTS site is hampered by some technical issues. Hopefully these do not last for long months as was the case following the launch of the platform in 2017.
