For the first time, a mother has decided to file a complaint against Monsanto, the manufacturer of Round’Up, a weedkiller glyphosate. She accuses the product of being responsible for the malformations of her 10-year-old son, who lives with a tracheotomy and who has already undergone more than 50 operations.
This mother did not explain her son’s deformities when he was born. Until the day it clicked. While pregnant, she sprayed Monsanto weedkiller on a 700 m2 plot. “I really had a very significant exposure, exactly when the organs were forming which were poorly formed afterwards.”, has she explained to RTL.
