Following the end of the partnership between Renault and Fiat in 2020, the Talento will be replaced in 2022 by a clone of the Citroën Jumpy and Peugeot Expert. The Italian manufacturer will also clone the Citroën Berlingo and Peugeot Rifter / Partner to renew the Doblo in the summer of 2022.
Brand of the Stellantis constellation, Fiat will return to its first love in the medium utility segment. Before getting closer to Renault in 2014, the Italian manufacturer was already working in partnership with PSA, whose Sevelnord plant (in Hordain in Hauts-de-France) supplied it with the Scudo, derived from the Citroën Jumpy and Peugeot Expert. In 2011, Fiat took off and replaced its utility from 2016 with the Talento, a Renault Trafic clone.

The agreement with Renault was short-lived because in October 2020, both parties announce the end of their collaboration due to the merger between FCA and PSA. From February 2022, the northern plant will again produce vehicles for the Italian brand since the replacement for the Talento will be derived from the Citroën Jumpy and Peugeot Expert (K0). Two vehicles that can also be found at Opel (Vivaro) and Toyota (Proace). In addition to the diesel versions, the new transalpine utility will convert to electric as well as hydrogen.
12 years later, the Doblo will hand over

Fiat will also make a double blow because in the summer of 2022 the manufacturer will replace the Doblo born in 2010, restyled in 2015 and manufactured in Turkey at Tofas. From July 2022, the Stellantis factories in Vigo in Spain and Mangualde in Portugal will have a new member in the K9 family. It will join its utility and ludospace cousins: Citroën Berlingo / Berlingo Van, Opel Combo / Combo Cargo, Peugeot Partner / Rifter and Toyota Proace City / Proace City Verso. Under the hood, the 1.2 PureTech petrol, the 1.5 BlueHDi diesel and the electric version with 136 hp. Citroën and Peugeot will take advantage of the arrival of the Italian to restyl their models four years after their release.
