Short of breath with weight loss
I, a 66-year-old man, have been tired, short of breath and short of breath for a long time. I have lost thirteen kilos in a few months. On short walks I then pant, have cramps in the chest and cough a lot. Getting worse. Is this COPD? I do smoke.

I would still go to the doctor and ask for an examination with the lung specialist. I think it’s best to get clarity as soon as possible. It could be a chronic inflammation based on COPD. There is a lot you can do with drugs.
