India: record of contamination with 8.7 million cases
The Indian country has recorded 47,905 new cases in the past 24 hours, a figure bringing to 8.636 million the number of contaminations since the start of the epidemic in the country. The country has more than 128,000 deaths, with an average of 550 daily deaths.
60% of the French would not have respected the rules of re-containment
According to an Ifop survey, 3 in 5 French people do not comply with the re-containment rules, using the travel certificate for purposes other than those indicated (24%) or by welcoming family (23%) or friends (20 %) home. Some French people would exceed the limit of one hour of exit (17%) or have broken the rules to find a partner or potential sexual partner (9%).
China: 15 new cases
China has recorded 15 new cases, which were reportedly transmitted with the arrival of foreigners in the country, including one reported in Tianjin. As a reminder, the country has 86,299 confirmed cases and 4,634 official deaths since the start of the epidemic.
