How long ago the time when the Dacia Sandero was sold in France under the bar of 8,700 €. The reorganization of the range then the successive tariff increases brought the Romanian general-purpose sedan gradually to the edge of 11,000 €. Nice inflation, but still a bargain!
Price increases continue at Dacia! We announced a price increase for the Sandero and Sandero Stepway ranges on February 24th. Since then, a new rise in prices has arrived. Two factors explain this. First, the shortage of semi-conductors which affects all car brands. Second, the need for the Renault group to restore its financial health by increasing its profit margins. For example, there is an increase of up to €1,000 on certain versions of the Dacia Jogger as well as on the electric Dacia Spring.
From €10,990
Thereby, since 1er April 2022, the Dacia Sandero with the SCe 65 engine in the Essential and Comfort finish are asking for an extension of €500, bringing the prices to €10,990 and €12,990 respectively. The rest of the Sandero range, including the Stepway version, is charged €300 more. Count €14,290 for the entry-level Dacia Sandero Stepway in Essential finish with the 1.0 TCe 90 hp engine and a five-speed manual gearbox. Prices even reach €17,190 in the Comfort finish, still with the 1.0 TCe 90 block but with the continuously variable CVT transmission. For the record, in 2021, the Dacia Sandero range experienced no less than four price increases.
