Available in 5 and 7 places, the Dacia Jogger station wagon will only arrive in dealerships in February 2022. But no need to wait until then to find out its range, which will start at a price of € 15,000. Argus tells you everything now.
Unveiled on September 3 and then exhibited at the 2021 Munich Motor Show, the Dacia Jogger, a break with 5 or 7 places with the look of an adventurer, will arrive in concession in February 2022. Let’s take stock of the range – which starts at € 15,000 – of the Dacia Lodgy MPV replacement.
3 trim levels, 2 engines
The Dacia Jogger offer will include three trim levels (Essential, Comfort and the Extreme limited series), which it will combine with two engines. At launch, the Jogger will leave the choice between the new 110 hp 1.0 TCe petrol unit and the gasoline / LPG dual-fuel engine, already known in the range as Eco-G and strong of 100 hp. There will be no diesel in the program, nor a 4 x 4 variant.
Like the Dacia Sandero from now on, the Dacia Jogger will not be offered in a very stripped-down Access version with gray plastic bumpers and sheet metal rims without hubcaps. No, in order to move upmarket, Dacia wishes to increase its products. The Jogger will be the first example. The station wagon will immediately be sold in its backpacker livery with all the attributes SUV style, which explains why it does not need to carry the name Stepway in addition. However, Dacia does not refrain from offering in Poland and Turkey less attractive versions of the Jogger in order to meet the demands of local customers.

Dacia Jogger Essentiel: from € 15,000
This entry-level version of the Dacia Jogger has sheet metal rims covered with plastic hubcaps. The front bumper is devoid of fog lights like chrome bars just above.
On board, your smartphone will act as a multimedia device through a Dacia app. Your phone, firmly seated at the top of the dashboard (photo opposite), will be controlled by the steering wheel controls. The audio system is satisfied with two speakers.
Dacia Jogger Confort: the heart of the range
The prices of the core range have not yet been announced, but remember that The opening of orders for the Dacia Jogger will not take place until November 2021. This finish will have a more flattering cosmetic presentation with in particular adhesive protections at the bottom of the doors and two-tone alloy rims.
On board, the multimedia system will be displayed on an 8-inch diagonal touchscreen located at the top of the center console. A device including Bluetooth, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionalities, as well as an audio system with four speakers. Just to the left of the screen, a specific support will allow you to have your smartphone within easy reach.
Dacia Jogger Extreme: chic at € 19,000
This limited series, called Dacia Jogger Extreme, will be offered for one year. Then it should give way to other similar proposals to liven up the range. Note that the recently restyled Dacia Duster has also just launched an Extreme limited series using practically the same cosmetic recipes.
This exclusive livery can be adorned with a Terracotta brown body color (that of the model exhibited in Munich and that we had available in our video, see below). Four other colors are also on the program: Pearl Black, Comet Gray, Moonstone Gray and Glacier White, from the Dacia color chart.
The Extreme Limited Series is distinguished by its black lacquered alloy rims and its specific stickers on the front doors. They evoke the plastic medallions of the Duster and the Dacia Bigster concept car, which foreshadows the future 7-seater SUV in the range. On board, the Media NAV system is entitled to the same 8-inch screen as the Comfort finish, but it is enriched with Wi-Fi connectivity and on-board navigation. The Dacia Jogger Extreme has six speakers, three 12 V sockets (one per row of seats) and two USB ports. Finally, in detail, at the rear of the pavilion a GPS / radio antenna in the shape of a shark’s fin, lacquered in black, advantageously replaces the “wire” model of the level 1 and 2 versions. It may be a detail for you, but for the Jogger Extreme it means a lot.
Dacia Jogger options
Depending on the markets, Dacia will offer optional equipment, such as the heated front seats, automatic air conditioning with digital display, the hands-free card with remote unlocking of the trunk or even the switching on of the headlights. Automatic windshield wipers, electric parking brake, reversing camera, blind spot detection and front and rear parking aids will not necessarily be standard. A commercial policy which allows the Romanian brand to maintain very tight prices without equivalents on the market.
Hybridization in 2023
In 2023, Dacia will enrich the Jogger range with a hybrid variant which will use in a simplified version (to guarantee an acceptable price) the technology of the Renault Captur E-Tech, namely a 1.6 petrol engine associated with an automatic transmission; this will perfectly complement the mechanical gearbox imposed at the launch of the Jogger.
