Normally, the surface layer of the skin contains 13% water. When temperatures drop, the cold weakens and alters the protective film supposed to retain water in the skin, thus promoting its evaporation. Results : dehydrated skin becomes, rough, irritated, uncomfortable. Weakened, the skin may present small dry and rough patches called darts.
The priority is therefore to reconstitute the skin’s protective film, to help it retain its water concentration. Phytotherapy, aromatherapy or homeopathy: several gentle solutions are available to you.
