On September 20, 2012, Claudine F. filed a complaint against her homeopathic doctor for having compromised her health. After his death on March 18, 2013, his family took over the case. This patient was suffering from breast cancer and would have been treated by Doctor D with black radishes, milk thistle, arnica or even walnut. The Order of Physicians has decided to strike him off for 2 years, since August 1, 2016.
28 injections of mistletoe extract
Relayed by the Parisian, this affair, in the context of Pink October, is only talking about her now. This homeopathic doctor practicing in the south-east of France was judged to have “seriously compromised the health of his patient”. He would not have ordered any other examination and let her believe that these natural treatments could have an impact on his cancer. The most unusual would be the 28 injections of mistletoe extract that he administered directly to her breast. Indeed, in homeopathy, this plant would slow down the cancerous process.
The condemned doctor nevertheless continued to affirm that he had never promised a cure to the patient and that he knew the limits of his medicine. The fact that Mrs F would have given up chemotherapy treatment does not justify the fact that her doctor continued to treat her with his products, without redirecting her to other doctors in order to provide her adequate care concerning his cancer, and thus lie to him about his state of health.
