Are you more of a sedan, coupe or convertible?
5 Series E28 (1981 – 1988)
Are you more for a family outing, a romantic getaway or a hair-in-the-wind getaway? From the 3 Series E36 Compact to the 7 Series E38 via the Z3 Coupé… there is something for all tastes and all budgets. For each of the models, we have targeted one or more engines, generally 6-cylinder petrol. Mechanics as noble as they are pleasant to listen to. Obviously, this choice induces a higher purchase cost, depending on the model chosen, and a higher maintenance budget.
Be aware, however, that the reliability of Bmw has proven itself. The engines, even very mileage (nearly 200,000 km), display an exemplary state of health. Provided, of course, that their owner has taken care of it. Do not forget that before each purchase, a test of the vehicle is essential to track down any possible failures.
