BMW offers its French customers one year of free and unlimited charging in the Ionity network in France for any order of a new electric model (excluding i3) placed by December 31, 2022.
To accompany the launch of the 100% electric iX and i4, while fuel prices are at their highest, BMW France is launching a promotional offer relating to the charging of its “zero emission” models in the Ionity network. Any customer ordering a new electric BMW between 1er April and December 31, 2022 will be entitled to one year of free and unlimited recharge at the terminals of this consortium bringing together the BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Ford and Hyundai groups.
An attractive although limited offer
This offer will only concern terminals ionity installed in France, i.e. approximately 500 devices distributed across around a hundred stations. Ten days maximum after the delivery of their vehicle (which can happen many months after the order given the current difficulties of the industry), the customers concerned will receive a promotional code which they will have to report, during the thirty days following , in the BMW Charging app. Prior creation of a BMW Charging account will be required. The chassis number of the acquired car must be communicated, the offer being reserved for this vehicle.
The i3 excluded, the i7 already included
BMW specifies that this offer is applicable for orders of the following models: iX3, i4, iX and i7 limousine. We therefore note that the latter, a new generation electric limousine, will be well marketed this year in our region. Note also the exclusion of the i3 city car, yet still in the catalog, but also that of the iX1 SUV. Officially announced, it should therefore not arrive in French dealerships before 2023.
