Curiosities, popular, luxury models …
Our selection of the month is eclectic to say the least! There are of course the traditional, and popular, Citroën 2CV which we always find in numbers on the first French site the most consulted. Far from being in a contest state (” barn outings “Obliges) some blame the weight of years and their poor storage condition. During our research we also came across more exceptional models. A Citroën SM from 1973 was thus seen again after several years hidden. Judging by the thick layer of dust it is covered with. A Renault NN pickup from the 1920s also finds itself in front of the lens after having spent years in the shadows.
Other models did not have the chance to be stored dry. So an owner offers for € 1,500 for a set of 3 vehicles : a Peugeot 203 Break, a Peugeot 304 Coupé and a Simca Camionnette.
To restore these 3 vehicles, the future purchaser will have to use the sander and elbow grease. Moss and lichen completely (or almost) cover the body. Also to be discovered in our selection: a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II (1978), a pretty Vauxhall Velox (1957), an amusing Fiat Ritmo (1981) or even a surprising Peugeot 205 GTI with a 405 Mi16 engine.
