Prohibit relatives from approaching the barbecue
Especially if they wear loose or synthetic clothing. And we keep the children away, even after the fire is out.
How to react in case of burns
Stop the pain with cold
The burning process continues until the area has been cooled. The application of cold (ice cubes in a washcloth orCold water) must be maintained as long as the affected area is painful “We cool down for a few minutes. Then we stop. If the pain persists, we start again, until it subsides” explains Dr. Vergnes-Blanquer.
