A healthier life is a good resolution that many people had at the beginning of this year. And now that the year has already been underway for a few weeks, we give you a helping hand. You will now receive a 75 percent discount on admission to our National Health Fair in February in Jaarbeurs Utrecht. There you will discover the latest health trends, taste delicious, healthy dishes and you can indulge in the various workouts. And let’s not forget all those interesting speakers. Think of people like Vivian Reijs, Pascale Naessens, Mathijs Vrieze and Ralph Moorman. Will we see you there?
Healthy enjoyment
Tasty does not always have to be unhealthy, as many exhibitors prove at the National Health Fair, which is held from 1 to 4 February. How do they prove that? By letting you try your products, of course. So try the healthy snacks, nut bars, dried fruit and other delicacies. And if you like it, you can take them home with you at an extra cost thanks to those great trade fair offers!
But there is more to taste. Because TV chef and author Mathijs Vrieze is the chef of our Cooking Theater for the third year in a row. He gives several live cooking shows there every day. During the workshops Mathijs enthusiastically cooks his inspiring dishes (which you can of course taste) and gives useful cooking tips. He would love to inspire the whole of the Netherlands to cook tasty and healthy. Mathijs: “Coming up with healthy recipes and cooking with fresh ingredients has been my passion for more than 15 years. Eating fresh gives so much energy and pleasure!”
Happy pear and Pascale Naessens
Mathijs is not the only one who talks about food at the fair. Happy pear also does this in an infectious way. These Irish twin brothers, David and Stephen Flynn, were regular guys who loved a beer (or two) and a good steak. Until they – completely independently of each other – started eating vegetarian. That changed their lives and they developed an infectious passion for healthy and good food. In 2004 they started a small greengrocery and a big dream: to create a community, a place where people like to come and are supported in their desire for a happier and healthier life. In addition to the Greystones shop, there are now two cafes, a farm, an online Happy Heart course, two bestsellers (100,000 books sold), a partnership with Jamie Oliver’s FoodTube Network and a successful YouTube channel. At the Health Fair, the brothers will share their experiences and give tips & tricks for eating plant-based.
Pascale Naessens explains in her presentation in the Health Theater that eating healthier or losing weight is not so much about willpower, but about insight. Forget calories, focus on quality food and let your body do the rest. Instead of working against our body, we have to ‘cooperate’ with our body, that makes a person happy. It’s like coming home: you become calm, get more energy and if you are overweight, you lose weight without being hungry for a moment.
Vivian, Ralph and Radmilo
Vivian Reijs is a health expert, orthomolecular nutrition coach, hormone therapist and motivational speaker and mother. Her greatest passion is to inspire and help women to become healthier, happier and slimmer. The best version of yourself! As a mother, she also knows better than anyone how difficult it is sometimes to feel really vital and then losing weight is sometimes not easy. Vivian shares her golden rules at the fair.
Ralph Moorman tells you how you can bring your hormones back into balance, which reduces or even solves complaints. Think of losing weight, more energy, better skin, less trouble with your period and menopause.
Radmilo Soda is a Personal Trainer and Lifestyle coach. He is an entrepreneur and owner of Soda Bodyfit, a studio in Amsterdam for personal training, nutrition and lifestyle. He is also known for the television program Obese and the author of two books: Echt Radmilo that appeared in 2014 and MOMS, the book for a healthy and fit pregnancy that was published at the end of 2016. His passion and mission: to inspire and support people in following a healthy life in a healthy body.
The above toppers are just some of the speakers at the fair. Heart specialist Janneke Wittekoek will come, Florien Vaessen will talk about her burnout and there will be many more speakers. On the site of the National Health Fair you will find the complete program and at the end of January also an overview of all workshops. If you then order tickets with code GNET, they will only cost you €5 instead of €20 per ticket
