Dropping your iPhone is miserable, especially if it damages it. Apple has therefore created a good feature to fix your broken iPhone quickly.
Smartphones are vulnerable devices after all. Even if you put a case around it, there is still a chance that it will break. The result is a crack in your screen or a malfunctioning phone. Apple yesterday updated its Apple Support app, designed for the iPhone and iPad. A new feature has also been introduced that provides price estimates for common repairs in selected locations.
Tool for your broken iPhone and iPad
You can just use the app to download in the Apple Store and is free. Within your iPhone, go to ‘My Devices’ and then you can choose ‘Repairs & Physical Damage’ to see a list of options.
The most common repairs are a cracked screen, cracked back cover, or battery service. For this you will be given an estimate of what the repair could cost, in addition to the option to book a repair. There are no cost estimates for more complicated repairs such as liquid damage or a camera not working as expected. You really need to go to a store for that.
Support
You can also enter text in ‘My devices’. This allows you to indicate what is wrong with your smartphone. This makes it easier to find the support option you need. The app is not new, but has now been updated. The app is in multiple languages, including Dutch. Also some bugs have been removed and the performance is better.
