Let’s do a check in.
What is apple cider vinegar?
This is an apple cider that has fermented. Under the action of bacteria and yeast, exposure of the liquid to air promotes in particular the production of acetic acid.
To take full advantage of its benefits, choose unpasteurized organic cider vinegar, produced in an artisanal way. It must have aged for at least 10 months in oak barrels to contain the maximum amount of active substances.
What are the benefits of apple cider vinegar?
In detox
Thanks to its antibacterial properties, it prevents germs from accumulating in the intestines and reduces feelings of bloating.
Used as a “detox” or ” flat belly “For a long time, especially in North African women, the benefits of taking cider vinegar as a cure have not, however, been never been scientifically proven.
To test apple cider vinegar as a detox cure, add 2 teaspoons of it along with 1 to 2 teaspoons of honey in a glass of lukewarm water. Drink this mixture every morning, preferably on an empty stomach, for a month.

A study conducted in 2010 (1) showed that adding a certain amount of vinegar (about 15 ml to 30 ml) to a meal containing carbohydrates would help decrease the response of glucose and insulin in the blood 30 to 60 minutes after consuming the meal.
It’s’acetic acid present in the vinegar which would be at the origin of the observed effects, since an increase in the proportion of acetic acid in the vinegar leads to a greater reduction in blood sugar and insulinemia (2).
Digestive issues
Consuming apple cider vinegar helps stimulate digestion and renew the intestinal flora. With diarrhea, the body loses fluid and vital minerals. Apple cider vinegar, mild and remineralizing bactericide, promotes the development of intestinal flora and regulates transit.
In case of difficult digestion, dilute 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a large cup of hot water. You can add 2 teaspoons of honey for taste. Drink this mixture half an hour before a meal.

Apple cider vinegar, whose pH is close to that of the skin, soothes skin irritations. Apply it directly to the mosquito or chigger bites, for example.

The recipe is simple: mix two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in 250 milliliters of mineral water rich in sodium. Add 1 or 2 teaspoons of honey.
Apple cider vinegar being rich in mineral salts, this cocktail would allow athletes to recover the mineral salts eliminated in sweat during exercise. Jarvis cocktail can also be used for diseases causing heavy sweating such as measles for example.
