I feel gloomy. I am also tense and burnt easily. People don’t do it right in my eyes and then I immediately lose my patience. I don’t recognize myself anymore. I wasn’t like that before. Is this depression?

We all agree sadlistless and indecisive. Sometimes we just don’t feel like it anymore after a major, emotional event. It’s also normal to be impatient or irritable when we worry bad sleeping. This shortens our fuses.
However, if the gloom, listlessness or irritability continues continuously for at least two weeks, you may indeed be depressed. Are you really not enjoying anything anymore? Then visit your doctor or a psychologist. They can determine whether you are indeed depressed are.
Search for help
Depression does not go away on its own. Because you think that everything is going wrong through your own fault, you don’t feel strong enough to do anything about your problems. You wouldn’t know where to start. You would do it wrong again anyway and so you do nothing. And then you feel bad about that. If you recognize this, seek help, if necessary online.
Perhaps as a first step, try confiding in someone. A friend, a family member, your partner. It’s nice to vent your heart. If a specific cause, such as a big fight or a financial problem, is causing your irritability, try to do something about this problem.
