American actress Jada Pinkett Smith recently opened up about her battle with alopecia on her Instagram account. She accepted the disappearance of her hair and now intends to sublimate her shaved head.

“I’m going to have to shave everything down to my scalp so no one thinks I’ve had brain surgery. This alopecia and I are going to be best friends.”. This is what American actress Jada Pinkett Smith wrote in a video posted on Instagram on December 28. In the latter, the wife of Will Smith, who has suffered for several years from alopecia, confided in this autoimmune disease which is characterized by the loss of hair on the body. She decided not to make a complex of it and to accept her hair loss.
“At this point, I can only laugh”
“Now at this point I can only laugh. Y’all know I struggle with alopecia,” she recalled, revealing her scalp. “So I thought I should share it so you don’t ask questions,” continued Jada Pinkett Smith. The actress showed off a white mark in the center of her shaved head. “Look at this line here. Look at this. It came out like this. Now it’s going to be harder to hide it,” she added. She explained that she was considering adorning her skull with rhinestones. “I’m going to make myself a little crown.”
“It was terrifying. I thought I was going bald”
This isn’t the first time the mom-of-two has opened up about her alopecia. In 2018, she had already delivered on her hair loss on the set of her show Red Table Talk. “It was terrifying when it started. I was in the shower one day and just had handfuls of hair in my hands. I thought I was going bald. It was the first time in my life. that I literally trembled with fear”, had told the actress.
This summer, Jada Pinkett Smith made the decision to completely shave her head with the help of her daughter. “Willow made me do it because it was time to let go”she had specified.
