Only 5 departments are spared by grass pollen. Allergic people have an interest in arming themselves with handkerchiefs: all of France is affected for several days.
The Tour de France does not start until the beginning of July. The grasses, on the other hand, have already started it well. Almost the entire territory is affected by these allergenic pollens according to the last bulletin of the National Aerobiological Surveillance Network (RNSA). Only the Côte d’Azur will be more spared with an average risk.
“If there is no persistent rains over the next few days, the quantities of grass pollen present will return to very high concentrations after each stormy episode,” warns the RNSA bulletin. Only five departments (Corse-du-Sud, Haute-Corse, Bouches-du-Rhône, Var and Alpes-Maritimes) are not affected by this high grass alert.

According to the 3-day forecast, the wave of allergies is not about to stop: after a small lull this Sunday, June 14, concentrations start to rise again on Monday.
The other pollens remain present but generally recede. Oak pollens are maintained at a low level south of the Loire, just like olive tree pollens, which spread to the southwest. Allergics will therefore have to arm themselves with handkerchiefs and medicines, while waiting for desensitization next winter.
