After batches of Camembert in April, it is now reblochon which is contaminated by E.coli. This Friday, April 11, the Leclerc centers recalled AOP reblochons sold under their “Our regions have talent” brand. This measure comes after “several cases” of “serious” food poisoning by the bacterium Eschechira coli have been declared.
The Ministries of Health and Agriculture have published a statement indicating to have identified “seven cases of Eschechira coli infections, including six hemolytic and uremic syndromes”, severe clinical form of the infection. The latter is due to the Eschechira coli E026 strain.
Watch for symptoms

The ministerial press release nevertheless specifies that in the absence of symptoms ten days after consumption of the food, there is no need to worry.
