Everyone can see the Dutch GP for free

Good news: F1 at Zandvoort is free to watch for anyone with a television. From Thursday 2 September to Tuesday morning 7 September, Ziggo will open all sports channels. Everyone – even if you have KPN, for example – can then follow F1 at Zandvoort. Please note: you must therefore have a television subscription. DTM, NASCAR and the Porsche Super Cup can also be seen that weekend. In total, there are six sports channels that can be viewed for free.
“As a proud provider of Formula 1 over the past nine years, we are happy to make this national racing spectacle at Zandvoort available to as many fans as possible,” says Ziggo Sport director Will Moerer. “Let’s hope that the whole of the Netherlands sees a beautiful and exciting race between Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton and all the other drivers.” As you know, the first practice is on Friday, the third practice and qualifying is on Saturday and the final race is on Sunday, September 5.
F1 at Zandvoort can also be watched for free in 2022
Next year, F1 will move from Ziggo to the provider Viaplay. Every year the streaming service Viaplay offers six races for free in the Netherlands. The GP of the Netherlands at Circuit Zandvoort will be one of those free races. The other five free F1 races have yet to be announced. The costs of Viaplay in the Netherlands are not yet known.
