Many people find it annoying: the unsolicited friend proposals that Facebook keeps coming up with. Often it even involves people you’ve never heard of. Tired of those friendship proposals? Then you turn it off.
This is how it works on an Android phone
- Open the Facebook app.
- Tap the three lines at the top right.
- Tap on Settings and privacy.
- Tap on Institutions.
- Scroll down and under Notifications click Notification Settings.
- Tap on people you might know.
- Sets Allow notifications on Facebook from.
