It is striking that the SL lacks a function compared to the earlier Roam speaker. A microphone for voice commands is missing this time. Furthermore, it is as good as the same speaker, including a waterproof / drop-resistant housing and battery life of ten hours.

The SL has a lower suggested retail price on paper. But the previous Roam has also dropped in price at many webshops, so that in practice they are about the same price. Namely 179 euros.
