1. Revive the complexion
The orange, apricot, peach and bronze tones, with a slight pearly effect, give beautiful colors to the face, which then “takes” the light better. The idea: to reproduce the golden appearance of the skin in summer on a dull epidermis. Pink favors pale skin tones.
2. Apply with precision
1. If your face is square, sweep the brush horizontally from the nose to the temples.
2. If it is oval, make a circle directly on the cheekbones.
3. If it is round, hollow out the cheeks by applying suntan to the jawbones, then the color on the cheekbones.
4. If it is triangular, lay it from the temples to the nose, going up slightly.
3. Harmonize makeup
The blush gives a fresh side to the face. To be elegant, it must remain discreet. On fair skin, try, for example, a rosy blush with a plum lipstick or a beige gloss, and nothing on the eyes. The black mascara + apricot blush duo beautifies all skin tones. Be careful, fuchsia tends to age dull skin.
4. Play with textures
A powder blush is placed on bare skin or on a powdered foundation beforehand so as not to form a spot. A greasy make-up allows a very natural make-up but which fades quickly because it melts into the skin. Powder it to make it last longer.
5. Choose the right brush
It should be round, very soft and rather small. If it’s too thick, you risk picking up too much material. Have two: one for sculpting and one for laying down color. This will prevent the colors from mixing.
