The travel kit remains fairly close to that of the house. “Its specificities depend on the destination, the duration and the conditions of the stay (urban area or not, organized trip or backpacker mode …) and the most common ailments”, notes Dr. Apolline Maillard, who advises to store medicines “in hand luggage rather than in the suitcase, so as not to be helpless in the event of loss”.
For the road
As vacations always begin with a commute, plan something to fight against first. motion sickness : for example Vogalène® (or one of its generics). On the homeopathic side, the advantage of Cocculine® is that it does not cause any side effects and can therefore be taken by the person who drives (unlike Vogalène®).
And on the spot
We slip into the kit of paracetamol against migraine-type pain, toothache, aches, as well as an antiseptic, to prevent infection of wounds. Note that there are now “two-in-one” compresses, already soaked in a disinfectant, which do not require cotton and product. We also think of physiological serum, useful for cleaning the eyes in case of sand projection on the beach and perfect for cleaning superficial wounds. There is also an arnica gel, in case of a fall of the youngest, as well as dressings of different sizes (and special ampoules …). And we do not forget an antidiarrhoeal drug like loperamide (for example Imodium Lingual®). Finally, we add a mosquito repellent, in a formula based on natural ingredients for young children, or in the form of funny stickers impregnated with lemongrass (SpotZzz stickers, at Mosquitno).
