The future Volkswagen ID.2 electric SUV should be produced in Spain, alongside the ID.1 city car or a Skoda-badged urban crossover. The Pamplona plant, which manufactures the Polo, T-Cross and Taigo, would therefore be responsible for some affordable electric models from the Volkswagen group.

The Volkswagen ID.2 would come from Spain
Volkswagen is planning to have the ID.2, a small “zero emission” urban SUV recently prefigured by the ID concept car, produced in Pamplona. Life. As for the second electric model that would be assembled alongside the ID.2 on the Landaben assembly lines, the Volkswagen group pundits would currently hesitate between a city car of the eponymous brand, expected under the name ID.1, and a Skoda crossover technically very close to the ID.2.
