By 2025, the VW catalog will be seriously overhauled. The 100% electric offer, initiated by ID.3 and ID.4, will expand downwards with ID.1 and ID.2. But the thermal range will make resistance with among the novelties, the restyling of the T-Roc or a brand new Passat.
[Mis à jour le 13/09/2021] In September 2019, Volkswagen launched its major electric offensive by officially presenting its compact sedan ID.3 at the Frankfurt Motor Show (the final edition). The compact is now accompanied by an SUV (ID.4) and other models will gradually come to enhance this new range: sedan, SUV, minivan … All segments will be explored. But what will remain with the classic models?

Volkswagens in 2022
The Volkswagen Bus will indeed have offspring in the form of the production version of the ID concept. Buzz which will be based on the largest wheelbase offered by the MEB platform. Moreover, in view of its less advantageous aero than the other ID models, this van which can carry up to 7 passengers, will display “a range of around 400 km”, according to Ralf Brandstätter, boss of the German brand. The machine, 100% electric, will also be available in a Cargo version, but will adopt a less retro look than the style study of 2017. The ID.3 will be able to have a GTX-labeled sports offer, while the ID.4 will give birth to a very trendy coupé derivative, the ID.5, already shown camouflaged in Munich.
But be careful not to forget the thermal novelties. In addition to the Amarok pickup, now built on a Ford Ranger base, Volkswagen will market the restyled version of the T-Roc in early 2022, which will be unveiled in fall 2021.

Volkswagens in 2023
For 2023, Volkswagen will further expand its 100% electric range with the arrival of the ID.7 (sedan and station wagon) from the Aero B project. Two models that were supposed to be launched in 2021. This catalog will be supplemented by two electric sedans positioned between segments B and C, one will focus on habitability, the other more on autonomy. Finally, behind the name ID. Ruggdzz hides an electric SUV more adventurous than the average. On the thermal side, however, the news is not amorphous. Besides a facelift of the Golf 8, the next generations of the Tiguan and Passat are expected. With a possible revolution for the latter, since it risks not lasting until break.

Volkswagens in 2024 and 2025
In its plan presented to investors, Volkswagen announces the release in 2025 of two electric city cars. The ID.1 will be a sedan in a format close to the Polo, while the ID.2 is more like an SUV, announced by the ID.Life concept at the 2021 Munich Motor Show. But 2025 is also the announced date for a 100% autonomous version of the Bulli, aka ID.Buzz, first used for a carpooling service in Hamburg, Germany. A year earlier, in 2024, we should discover a new SUV, the Tayron, which would replace the Tiguan Allspace and which is already known in China.
