A good start to the day.
Ingredients
-
125 grams of hazelnuts
-
150 grams spelled flakes / buckwheat flakes
-
2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
-
2 tablespoons linseed
-
1 orange
-
piece of fresh ginger (about 2 cm)
-
2 tablespoons coconut oil
-
10 dried apricots
-
baking paper
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 160°C. Roughly chop the nuts. Mix the nuts with the flakes and seeds.
- Scrub the orange well and grate the zest of the orange above the granola mixture, really only do the orange zest (the white underneath is bitter). Peel the ginger and grate it finely into the mixture.
- Melt the coconut oil. Squeeze half of the orange and spoon it into the granola with the melted coconut oil. Spread everything on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Place in the oven for 15 minutes until the granola is crispy. Let cool and meanwhile cut the apricots into pieces. Mix the apricots with the granola. Store in a tightly closed container.
Tip
Delicious with yogurt or cottage cheese and fresh fruit.
