Cinema tickets, tickets for a match, reduced prices at nightclubs … To encourage the youngest to get vaccinated, the Hérault prefecture has launched the VacciPlus operation.
Some see the health pass as a stick, the Hérault opts for the carrot! To encourage the vaccination of the youngest, the prefecture of Hérault launched, on July 29, the VacciPlus operation.
A first injection between August 1 and August 15
This device wants to “reward” 18/25 year olds who will be vaccinated against Covid-19. All young people who will receive a first injection between August 1 and August 15 will be entitled to a gift: cinema tickets, reduced prices at restaurants or to enter a nightclub, etc.
The prefecture brought together around thirty partners to sponsor this operation.

An operation that arouses mixed reactions:
It’s perfect, all “rewards” are good to take!
Vaccinate yourself, that’s all it takes to move forward and let’s keep the barrier gestures.

The PCR test is still necessary
But beware: to enjoy their gifts, young people will still have to undergo a PCR test because their vaccination will not be complete.
The health pass is already compulsory in places of culture and leisure with more than 50 people, such as cinemas, museums and stadiums. From August 9, it will also be necessary to go to restaurants and bars.
With VacciPlus, the Hérault hopes to boost its vaccination rate among the youngest. The department is lagging behind the rest of France. Barely 55% of 18-25 year olds are vaccinated in the Hérault, against more than 64% nationally.
