A Vietnamese made a working wooden replica of the Rolls Royce Boat Tail for his son. Built in 68 days, the cart has all the characteristic elements of the English cabriolet, such as the doors and the trunk with two openings.
Presented in the spring of 2021, the Rolls Royce Boat Tail is the most expensive new car in the world. This two-seater cabriolet with a slender line is produced in only three copies at a price of 23 million euros each. An astronomical price for an ultra-exclusive car. But there is now a fourth Boat Tail, even more unique than the first three since it is made of wood. And, spoilerit does not cost twenty million.
68 days of manufacture
This atypical creation is the work of ND – Woodworking Art, a Vietnamese craftsman who shares his creations on his YouTube channel. Lamborghini Sian, Bugatti Centodieci or Ferrari 250 GTO, all his cars are functional. This is once again the case with the Rolls Royce Boat Tail that this man made for his little boy. It took him 68 days to manufacture the replica of the English convertible from scratch. A miniature on an unknown scale, which can still accommodate two people and run thanks to an electric motor. It also has functional lighting and real antagonistic doors like the original model. The manufacturer has also reproduced the two openings of the trunk, revealing the picnic set. After completing the miniature Boat Tail, the Vietnamese is now embarking on the construction of another cart for his son, this time with a metal chassis: the Lamborghini V12 Gran Turismo concept.
