A study from the University of Anglia Ruskin University (UK), published by a German Research Institute (IZA-Bonn) reveals a link between great sex life and high pay.
The author, Nick Drydakis, professor of economics at Anglia Ruskin University (UK) analyzed data from a Greek study, the Greek Behavioral Study, which covered 7 5000 households and sought to estimate whether sexual activity could be associated with high salaries.
To establish scientific data, each couple declared their salary levels, the number of sexual relations (sexual abstinence, 1 to 2 sexual relations per year, one relation per month, 2 to 3 reports per month, per week, 2 to 3 times per week or more than four intercourse per week), their sexual orientation. The authors also took into account the level of study, religious practices and the personality of the participants.
Couples who have had four sexual intercourse per week earn 5% higher wages than others. And those who are abstinent from sex earn 3% less wages than others!
These results are independent of the sexual orientation and other factors such as the level of education, religious practices and the personality of the participants.
According to Nick Drydakis, author of the study, this study confirms that “sexual activity is considered a barometer of health, quality of life, well-being and happiness. People with rich sexual activity are often balanced, enduring and have a healthy and balanced diet. And that people who are fulfilled in their personal life are also happy in their professional life“.
