Still remarkably quiet around all developments of GTA 6, but there is another news to report.
Boy, what does Rockstar Games leave us in the deep end with a possible announcement of the latest Grand Theft Auto. The fifth part appeared in 2013, that’s almost ten years ago! The development is still dominated by GTA Online. The online part of part five regularly receives new, entertaining content. But of course the fans hope for GTA 6, at least there is some news to report.
GTA 6 will be the only game from Rockstar Games released on the current generation of consoles. Just to be clear, that’s the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X and S. The news comes from GamingBible based on sources. The development is expected to demand so much from Rockstar that they won’t have time to deal with other new titles. Other well-known games from the studio are Max Payne, Bully and Red Dead Redemption.
GTA 6 is in development, but no one knows to what extent Rockstar is done with the game. You can bet that a release in 2022 is not in it for the sixth part. What will see this year is a polished version of GTA V on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.
